All of the ivory, bone, and baskets in the Gallery are made here in Alaska and most are documented with the name and biography of the Alaska Native carver. All items are one-of-a-kind and are subject to prior sale.
The ivory is walrus ivory, harvested as part of the subsistence lifestyle of native Alaskans.
Images of Kachemak Bay at the top of our website are by Byron Birdsall, Taz Tally, Ed Tussey, and Jon Van Zyle.
